Announcement of the monthly Triad NC ISSA chapter meeting for July:

Winston-Salem, NC

Cost: Free for Triad ISSA Chapter Members and First Time Visitors. $10 for returning visitors.  Dinner will be provided.

3. Presentations (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Understanding the Importance of Digital Evidence


Speaker: Giovanni Masucci, President/Sr. Digital Forensic Examiner for National Digital Forensics, Inc. Raleigh, NC


Presentation:  A slide show will be presented on Digital Forensics, focusing on what it is, what is important, where to begin, strategies, tools, identifying, preserving, collecting, analysis, reporting and testifying, some case examples and followed up with a Q&A.  Please feel free to ask questions during the presentation as Giovanni enjoys and prefers interaction during the presentation.  He is a wealth of knowlege and expertise in the world of digital forensics, tap into this wealth while we have this opportunity.


Presenting will be Giovanni Masucci, President/Sr. Digital Forensic Examiner for National Digital Forensics, Inc. Raleigh, NC


Mr. Masucci is a Sr. Digital Forensic Examiner, North Carolina State Licensed Counterintelligence Professional and President of National Digital Forensics, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Masucci has over 32 years of combined professional experience in political and governmental affairs, security, technology, consulting and including over 12+ years in Digital Forensics as a Sr. Digital Forensic Examiner.


Mr. Masucci has been qualified & testified numerous times as an Expert in Computer/Digital Forensics & Cell Phone Forensics in the following US Courts; Federal, State Superior, District Courts and including the North Carolina State Bar Disciplinary Hearing Commission


His company is based in Raleigh, NC.

ISSA Triad of NC

The Information Systems Security Association is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members.

The Triad of NC chapter provides a local resource for information security professionals to get together, learn new things, and develop relationships with others in the industry. If you are involved in information security, full or part time, or are simply interested in the subject, this organization is a great way to learn and grow.


The Triad of NC chapter meets the 4th Thursday of each month January – October and the 2nd Thursday in November and December.  Meeting venues are generally rotated monthly between Dynamic Quest in Greensboro and Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem.
