2. Chapter business including elections (6:45 pm to 7 pm)
3. Presentation (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): “New Approaches to Foundational Security Measures”
Protecting ourselves against the modern security threat is very challenging. New tools and process are necessary to stay ahead of the malicious actors. It is also very important that we not forget about the foundational basics of a strong security program. Join Sirius Computer Solutions as we discuss new approaches to foundational security measures, what is needed to address the modern threat, and how to protect ourselves against the unknowns of the future.

ISSA Triad of NC
The Information Systems Security Association is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members.
The Triad of NC chapter provides a local resource for information security professionals to get together, learn new things, and develop relationships with others in the industry. If you are involved in information security, full or part time, or are simply interested in the subject, this organization is a great way to learn and grow.
The Triad of NC chapter meets the 4th Thursday of each month January – October and the 2nd Thursday in November and December. Meeting venues are generally rotated monthly between Dynamic Quest in Greensboro and Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem.
