Cost: Free for Triad ISSA Chapter Members and First Time Visitors. $10 for returning visitors.  Dinner will be provided.

2. Chapter business (6:45 pm to 7 pm)     

3. Presentation  (7:00 pm – 8:00 pm): “Leveraging Machine Analytics to Reduce Risk”

 

Presenter’s Biography:

Jim Mason, CISSP, is an Enterprise Sales Engineer with LogRhythm, specializing in SIEM, log management, network & endpoint monitoring, forensics and security analytics. He has over 25 years of Information Systems experience, including tenures at A10 Networks, Riverbed Technology, Fortinet, Cisco Systems, Foundry Networks and Anixter. Jim is a native of Philadelphia, PA and has resided in the Charlotte, NC area since 1994.

The Information Systems Security Association is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members.

The Triad of NC chapter provides a local resource for information security professionals to get together, learn new things, and develop relationships with others in the industry. If you are involved in information security, full or part time, or are simply interested in the subject, this organization is a great way to learn and grow.

The Triad of NC chapter meets the 4th Thursday of each month January – October and the 2nd Thursday in November and December.  Meeting venues are generally rotated monthly between Dynamic Quest in Greensboro and Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem.
