Abstract:

Information security skillsets are in high demand across the country. Constantly evolving technologies and regulatory trends can make it feel difficult to keep your skillset relevant, or to get your career started. This presentation will review some of these trends, and identify steps you can take to initiate or advance your career with confidence.

Presenter’s Biography:

Nolan Myrick started with TEKsystems in January 2010 and has recruited across a large variety of skillsets in Information Technology. He currently supports the Network Infrastructure and Security Services division, focusing on several major accounts including Wells Fargo and LabCorp.

One of his personal passions is coaching and development. He earned his undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill with a focus on Interpersonal & Organizational Communications, and an M.S. in Kinesiology/Coaching from Georgia Southern University in 2006.

Nolan currently lives in Burlington, NC with his wonderful wife, Tammy, and two young daughters, Tate (5 years) and Nylie (18 months).
