In this month’s presentation, we hope you will be able to take away some valuable insights and suggestions on how to improve the security awareness in your organization.  While CyberSecurity Awareness month is meant to provide a focus on Information Security in October, CyberSecurity Awareness is an ongoing process and is a responsibility that all information security professionals should accept throughout their career.

Jason Cox earned the CISSP certification and is a Senior Application Systems Analyst for Information Security assigned to the Entity Information Security Team at the UNC Health Care System. In his role he has responsibility for Information Security for High Point Regional, UNC Medical Center, Rex Hospital, and all of the entities of the UNC Health Care System across the state.

Jason is the Vice President of our chapter and has a passion for working with his peers to address current issues in Information Security. He has been in IT for 13 years having previously worked for North State Communications as Network Operations & Security Manager before joining High Point Regional and the healthcare industry in mid-2012. During his time at North State, he led the project to upgrade the corporate enterprise network as well as implemented many of their core security technologies. He is a long time member of the FBI’s Infragard program as well as ISSA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from High Point University.

This is a great opportunity for our members to meet, network, and learn from other members and professionals in the community.  Please be sure to register by clicking on the link below:
