Cyber Risks We Face Emerging from Corona the Trenches: Work From Home to Work From Anywhere

Join Brian Linder from Check Pont’s Beyond the Perimeter team for a view from the trenches, as we dive into some of the latest exploit trends and vulnerability vectors in the changing global threat surface as we keep business operating in the age of Corona. Hear some of the latest insights from CP Research with particular attention to emerging Endpoint and Mobile threats along with mitigation strategies.

Presenter’s Biography:

Your presenter is Brian Linder, a subject matter expert in Endpoint, Mobile and SaaS security for Check Point. Brian is one of Check Point’s cyber-evangelical types, who also hosts of one of Check Point’s national podcasts, the “BTP CoffeeTalk”, and appears regularly on Check Point’s global LinkedIn Live feeds, and is also a regular guest appearing on Government Matters on ABC in Washington, DC. Brian career spans over 18 years in cybersecurity, he holds a MS from Penn State University, as well as CISSP, GSEC certifications and is an Ironman. He brings passion and energy to every endeavor.

The Triad of NC chapter provides a local resource for information security professionals to get together, learn new things, and develop relationships with others in the industry. If you are involved in information security, full or part time, or are simply interested in the subject, this organization is a great way to learn and grow.

The Triad of NC chapter meets the 4th Thursday of each month January – October and the 2nd Thursday in November and December.  Meeting venues are generally rotated monthly between ECPI in Greensboro and Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem.
