The Verizon 2019 Data Breach Investigation Report found that Phishing was the #1 Threat Action used in successful breaches linked to social engineering and malware attacks. As security professionals, what leadership and guidance should you be offering your organizations to help them defend against these withering attacks?
The presentation will show how you should be setting up SPF, DKIM and DMARC and what protection each brings to your organization. We’ll also go through an exercise of header analysis using actual cases of email phishing attacks that I’ve received.
We’ll conclude with discussion of some solutions available through Microsoft 365, Google Office Suite and Amazon Web Services and some tools and tool suites available from other manufacturers and what they can or can’t do for you.
